Story[]
The story begins with Nie Li, who is facing Du Ze and Lu Piao. Lu Piao heard that the Divine Family's Chen Linjian's exploration to the Ancient Orchid Ruins has brought back an estimation of million Demon Spirit Coins worth of treasures, and is angry why Nie Li didn't bring the two of them with him. Nie Li explained that the exploration of the ruins is dangerous, and he cannot guarantee their safety, and even Shen Yue is missing. However Du Ze and Lu Piao said that they just saw Shen Yue the day before. This prompted Nie Li to think that something is suspicious with the Sacred Family and the Dark Guild. The scene then turns to the Genius Class of the Holy Orchid Institute, where two people are discussing about one woman named Huyan Lanruo keeps going to the Apprentice Classes, in order to find someone named Nie Li, and ended up fighting with Xiao Ning'er. Upon mentioning Xiao Ning'er, Shen Fei who is beside started to show his anger and the two genius students has no other choice but to shut their mouths. A student named Ye Hong then started to approach Shen Fei, and started to argue with Shen Fei about certain matters, which consists of Xiao Ning'er. After the argue, Ye Hong went away, saying if Shen Fei dares to harm Xiao Ning'er, Ye Hong won't forgive him no matter what. The scene then turns to Nie Li, Du Ze and Lu Piao who are trying to sneak into school grounds through climbing walls, since Huyan Lanruo will stalk them at the door itself. Soon, they were discovered by some people, and they swiftly climb over the wall. After some seconds, Xiao Ning'er approached Nie Li, with the two greeting each other. Xiao Ning'er asked Nie Li if he truly loves Huyan Lanruo, which he denies and tell Ning'er to ignore that stalker. Deacon Yun Hua then appears some meters away from the group, with Yun Hua and his underlings noticing Nie Li. One of the underlings suggests killing Nie Li, which Yun Hua declines and says that killing Nie Li in the city will attract too much attention. Yun Hua also decides to let Nie Li live two or three days more, and tells his underlings to send some people to monitor Nie Li's actions. The scene then goes back to Nie Li's group, with Nie Li asking Xiao Ning'er the origins of the people who just passed by them, which she replies that they are from the Star Restaurant, which is managed by the Sacred Family. Nie Li decides that he needs connections to protect him and his friends, and the episode ends with the group heading to the Alchemy Association.
