A leader in the Dark Guild, he holds the title of Deacon. It was him and a small group of men that chased Nie Li and his group in the Ancient Orchid City Ruins.[5] He is described as having a large build with blond hair covering half his face and sharp eyes.[1]
Because higher ranked demon spiritualists can more easily be detected, he is one of the highest ranked members of the Dark Guild stationed within Glory City.[6]
After Nie Li returned home on holiday, Deacon Yun Hua and the two 3 star silver fighters, Liu Qing and Liu Yan, tried to assassinate him. They were quickly discovered by Nie Li and attacked.[6] Nie Li kills Liu Qing and Liu Yan; and also injures Deacon Yun Hua before he is able to escape. [7]
After the humiliation that the Sacred Family faced during the younger generation tournament, Shen Hong ordered Shen Ming to take some strong experts with him and kill Nie Li when he emerges from the City Lord's Mansion.[8] Yun Hua is one of the experts chosen by Shen Ming, however he is knocked out fairly early in the fight when Nie Li uses a close range Yin-Yan Bomb in the mouth of his merged Black Star Tiger.[9] Yun Hua, along with Shen Ming, is captured by Nie Li and taken to the Alchemy Association to be questioned.[10]
Yun Hua is not seen again until he is brought forward by Nie Li at the meeting of Glory City's experts. He is about to use the Soul Refining Technique to extract truthful testimony in front of all the patriarchs when he suddenly dies. He was branded by the Soul Shackle method which Shen Hong activated by make a few secret seal signs.[11]
