He is a step-by-step walkthrough for adding spoiler images or text to a wiki page or comment.
- First we want to switch to "Source mode"(for comments) or "Source Editor" (for Articles). This allows us to use code. Below are images to show you how to switch to the Source Editor.
- Next we need to call the template that we wish to use. If you want to add text, then type:
{{Spoiler Text
|Text = Add your text here!
<---this gives you a line break
[[Home|Here]] Is an internal link.
}}
It will look like this:
Most likely a Spoiler below. Highlight to read. |
Add your text here! <---this gives you a line break Here Is an internal link. |
Warning: links will still be visible as their font is blue.
If you want to add a spoiler image, then uploaded it like normal and type this below (do not include items in parenthesis, they are just notes).
{{Inline Spoiler Image
|Image = Your Image Name.png
|Imagealign = center (default = right)
|Imagesize = 300px (default = 220px)
|Imagecaption= This is a cat (default = empty)
}}
The only thing required is "Image." If the other parameters are left out they will go to their default values.

If you want to add a spoiler image to an info box on a character page, then uploaded it like normal and add the text below to the character's page in the top section, next to the other images (do not include items in parenthesis, they are just notes).
|t7= Spoiler (this is the tab label)
|image7= Your Image Name.png
Be sure to change the number to one that is not being used by another image (example: t2, t2, t3, etc. and image1, image2, image3, etc.) The numbers need to match and each character can have up to 7 images. You can make it a normal image (instead of a hidden "spoiler" one) by changing the tab name to anything else, besides "Spoiler."
- Now you can continue to type either in the source editor or change back to the regular text editor by clicking "Visual Mode" (for comments) or "Apply changes" (for Articles). However, the items in the spoiler sections can only be edited if you go back into the "Source Editor."
