Xuan Yu is one of the adult members of the Sky Origin Divine Clan that Nie Li buys from the Dragonbreath Chamber at the border of the Endless Wilderness in the Draconic Ruins Realm. He is one of the two 5 Stage Dao of Dragon realm experts that he manages to form a Soul Contract with.[1]
After a week of purchasing three hundred and sixty Sky Origin Divine Clan members, their new master drew them into a strange and powerful separate dimension. The fact that Nie Li held such mysterious secrets combined with having his life in another's hand, made Xuan Yu terrified of what he wanted with so many of them. Much to his surprise, Nie Li actually approached each member of the clan and told them one of the long-lost Sky Origin Divine Clan Cultivation Techniques that they should cultivate. When Xuan Yu asked Nie Li how he could possible know these techniques, he only told them that he has a special relationship with the Sky Origin Divine and will always treat them well. He also taught them their ancient combat array, the Sky Origin God Array.[1]
